(KMOV) - Diners looking to change their Sunday brunch routine are heading to "school."
Sauce Magazine has discovered great food being offered at a popular music venue.
They've been serving brunch for less than two months, and already Lucas School House's Courtyard Restaurant is catching on.
It could be the serene surroundings of the courtyard, or maybe the approachable comfort food of Chef Christopher Roussin.
That includes the schoolyard slinger. It's a fried egg, country potatoes, andouille sausage, country gravy, cheese over buttermilk biscuits.
Chef Roussin prides himself on his fresh seafood, so you must try shrimps and grits platter.
For the traditionalist, there's the bagles and shmear.
Omelet lovers you must try the Tomato Florentine.
To take the edge off the morning make sure to try their version of the Bloody Mary.
